Construction Process

First mark out shape and axle positions.

Next drill axle holes.
Now cut out shape

Sand majority off.

Fine sanding to a smooth finish.

Neatly finished, paint is applied.

Finishing touches, Screw Eyes & Wheels

Lets Test then RACE!!!!!

Final Design

After considering all opinions and ideas this is my final design.

Second Opinions

Here is a list of suggested changes that I need to consider after recieving feedback on my design.

  • a
  • b
  • c
  • d

Concept Drawings

Some design ideas.

Research

Some examples of dragsters for design ideas

My PMI

Positive = I now know more about CO2, Aerodynamics, Racing and Dragsters.

Negative = Doing this list. CO2 is bad for the environment and still we're using it.

Interesting = NASA has a website for school kids. It has lots of interesting facts.

Knowing this info will help me to create a shape that is aerodynamic and hopefully i can do something to the canister to make the CO2 come out faster.

Lesson 2 Research has Revealed?

What I know, now that I've done some research.

CO2 = Cardon Dioxide, causing the greenhouse effect from burning fuels, plants absord it to grow, we breath it out. When compressed into a solid is know as dry ice.

Aerodynamics = The word comes from two Greek words: aerios, concerning the air, and dynamis, which means force. Aerodynamics is the study of forces and the resulting motion of objects through the air. Aerodynamics vid

Dragsters a competition in which specially prepared vehicles compete two at a time to be the first to cross a set finish line, from a standing start, in a straight line, over a measured distance, most commonly a ¼-mile or 402.3-metre straight track.

Racing = A sport race is a competition of speed, against an objective criterion, usually a clock or to a specific point. The competitors in a race try to complete a given task in the shortest amount of time. Typically this involves traversing some distance, but it can be any other task involving speed to reach a specific goal.

The start of my CO2 dragster project

What I know so far:
CO2 = gas, used in soda stream machine.
Aerodynamics = how wind moves past an object. F1 cars use it.
Dragsters = cars that are long and thin, go very fast and are very noisy.
Racing = one vehicle trying to go faster than the other.
